How UniTrain can help you implement GDPR

UniTrain provides a full employee awareness elearning solution for GDPR preparation.
This will help employees understand what the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) means for your organisation and is the first important step towards compliance. Due to come into force in May 2018, GDPR will mark the most important change in data privacy regulation in the last twenty years. The regulations will broaden the definition of 'personal data' and call for enhanced transparency, more rights for the individual, and a culture of accountability that incorporates 'privacy by design'.
Course Overview
The course which is around the 35 minute mark helps learners understand their role in protecting personal data within their organisations, using the GDPR for guidance. There are three topics in the course: Data and the Law; Principles Rights and Obligations; Breaches.
  • Data and the Law introduces learners to the legislation, who and what it protects and who it applies to (in terms of countries and organisations).

  • Principles, Rights and Obligations looks specifically at the different types of GDPR legislation: principles, enhanced data rights for individuals and new obligations for organisations

  • Breaches. Scenarios’ based on breaches within a fictitious confectionary company.
There are questions, scenarios and examples given throughout the course with some interactive videos, and of course, an end of course test.
At the end of the course, if the delegate passes then they are able to print off a certificate to prove they have passed this course.
